Does it even matter?

Does history matter? I think it does. Without history no one would know how they really came to be. Take the bible for instance, It is one of the oldest pieces of history we have available right now. It shows accounts of supposedly how mankind came to be. It helps to clarify accounts of the past and more by showing achievements your people have made that brings us to the present. But this question is easily arguable. History doesn't necessarily need to be around. All history does is pretty much answer questions for us so we don't just have to sit around and wonder. Without history we would just have questions. It wouldn't really impact life too much. I think history is just there to show us how far we've come just to make everyone feel like the best.
